Technology is more embedded in your business that you think!

I have just completed a roll out of a small application in a small business and I stand amazed at how much change this represents to this company.

I would like to encourage my small business clients to schedule some time with me to forward think their business model and spend some thought time on how they do business. A well thought out plan to adopt anything new is always a good idea.

If you are my client, please give me a ring, we'll talk about what's important to you and explore how your business may need to change in the future to either gain a competitive advantage or maintain the lead you now enjoy and how your technology supports you in these areas.

LinkedIn presence represents new contact method for my clients.

Those of us who work in technology are sometimes the late adopters of the very technology we support. By making a concious effort to leverage my LinkedIn profile I am giving my clients a new avenue of contact and interaction. I'm excited!

Skills Training More Important Than Ever Before

With the advent of social media, LInkedIn and Facebook skills are in high demand if you want to drive clients to your site. Jack James of Hocker and Associates was recently pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to flesh out his LinkedIn presence to augment an already formidable web presence. Jack spent some quality time with his BNI Executive Networking Group buddy, Kelly Stambaugh working on his LinkedIn skills. Jack now realizes that this type of presence "fills the gaps that occur" in his web presence and real estate listings. LinkedIn allows his clients to feel more comfortable with Jack as a partner and have the background needed to conduct a safe, expedient sale or purchase.
